Old Fort Niagara will host a special Symposium entitled 1812: A War of Many Faces on June 10-12, 2011. The three-day event, underwritten by the New York Council for the Humanities, will bring six top scholars to Niagara County for a series of presentations about the people who were touched by the conflict.

At Waterbike Adventures you are set up on pedal-powered watercraft to navigate the lengths of Erie Canal while exploring the hidden realms of Gateway Harbor in Tonawanda, NY.

Participants can spend up to an an hour on the water-bike and enjoy the experience of cycling without having to wear a helmet and street floaties.

Waterbike departures launch from the docks at the intersection where the Ellicott Creek feeds into the Erie Canal.

The original American Kazoo Company was established in 1916 and is now the only metal kazoo factory in the world. The museum highlights history, amusing trivia, and shows step by step the way kazoos are made.

This working museum continues to manufacture a complete line of kazoos. Believe it or not, kazoos are made the same way today as in 1916. The machines that make kazoos are the same die presses that were installed in 1907 when the building housed a sheet metal workshop.

The Power Vista is located 4½ miles downstream from Niagara Falls, set amidst the spectacular scenery of the Niagara River Gorge. Located close to Niagara Reservation State Park and the Rainbow Center Factory Outlet in Niagara Falls, NY, the Niagara Wax History Museum of History features life-like wax figures of many of the Niagara frontier's early explorers. Father Hennepin and Robert Lasalle are included, as well as modern-day daredevils who have gone over the Falls in a barrel.
