Free Concerts

Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA announces the Hard Rock Rocks Old Falls Street, USA summer concert series lineup with musical acts including KC and the Sunshine Band, Finger Eleven and The Guess Who.

Thursday At The Square has been renamed “Thursday At The Harbor ” and this year all of the Thursday shows have been moved to the Erie Canal Harbor. After 25 years of free concerts at Lafayette Square in Buffalo the free Thursday night concert series has a new home.

Promoters have cited better crowd control and site lines as reasons for moving the summer concert series to the Erie Canal Habor. Music fans have also championed the move stating too many non music fans were crashing and over crowding the free concerts at the previous venue.

For 42 years, M&T Bank’s Plaza Event Series began on June 11, 2012 and will continue to offer a diverse line up of music, acting, dancing, and more.
 

The Plaza Event Series is free and held daily from noon to 1 pm. With a 12-week schedule, the series is the longest running, corporate-sponsored event of its kind in the United States.

Each week will feature various emcees from media outlets and performers with plenty of options to please the whole family. Join in the fun at this lunchtime Downtown tradition!

SUMMER BREEZE BY THE LAKE is a 9 week all-ages concert series that features a variety of musical acts performing at the top of Shakespeare Hill in Delaware Park every Thursday from June 16, 2011 through August 11, 2011. Proceeds from the series benefit the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy.

The United States Navy Concert Band, the premier wind ensemble of the U.S. Navy, presents a wide array of marches, patriotic selections, orchestral transcriptions and modern wind ensemble repertoire.  As the original ensemble of the Navy Band, the Concert Band has been performing public concerts and participating in high-profile events for more than 85 years.

Buffalo Chamber Music Society presents 21-year-old pianist Charlie Albright winner of the 2009 Young Concert Artists International Auditions as part of their Gift to the Community Recital Series. His stunning performance at the competition of four Chopin Etudes brought audience and judges alike to their feet. This is a free concert and tickets are not required.
