Old Fort Niagara will host a special Symposium entitled 1812: A War of Many Faces on June 10-12, 2011. The three-day event, underwritten by the New York Council for the Humanities, will bring six top scholars to Niagara County for a series of presentations about the people who were touched by the conflict.

The Battle Ground Hotel is located at 6151 Lundy's Lane in the heart of Historic Drummondville, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.  The Battle Ground Hotel Museum sits on a part of the remaining untouched lands of the Lundy's Lane Battlefield. Originally constructed as a home in the early 1800's, it was later converted into a tavern and inn. The Hotel became a popular spot for visitors to take a rest and refreshments after strolling the Battle Field and Drummond Hill Cemetery, which is located right across the street.

Old Fort Erie is located on the shores of Lake Erie and is directly across from Buffalo. This fort was once a very important military post during the War of 1812.

Reenactors representing British, American and Native combatants recreate life on the Revolutionary frontier at Old Fort Niagara. Battle demonstrations, living history camps, uniform and weapons programs, hands-on activities for families. Special activities from 10 am to 4 pm.

This Buffalo waterfront museum of military history features the Destroyer USS The Sullivans, guided missile cruiser USS Little Rock, submarine USS Croaker, tanks, airplanes, and more in the largest inland park of its kind in the nation. All branches of the Armed Forces are honored in the park's museum and numerous exhibits.
