Come to Ellicottville when the foliage of the surrounding hills is ablaze with color for their Fall Festival, October 8th and 9th, 2011. It's the southtown's oldest and largest Festival. Tens of thousands of festival goers make for a lively weekend of unique foods, an arts and Crafts Show, carnival rides, live entertainment and much more.

Fun Fun Fun at the Fall Festival 5K Run!
2011 Promises another terrific 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Walk during Ellicottville's Annual Fall Festival Weekend.
The smell of fall is in the air, changing leaves abound and what a weekend is in store!
Starting and finishing on Holiday Valley Road the Fall Festival 5K sends entrants on a hilly jaunt to and from Holiday Valley Resort with a lung-burner of a finish. Hundreds of athletes pack the weekend full of fun and enjoy the brisk fall air in a setting second to none in our region thanks to one of the most visible Festival weekens of the year. Just a mile down the road is the Ellicottville Fall Festival featuring hundreds of vendor booths, food booths and entertainment rounding out yearly tradition. What better way to celebrate than kicking off your weekend with a great 5K Run!
On Saturday morning the laces are tied and the starting bell blasts as runners compete in this yearly tradition.
Plenty of parking near the starting line, a terrific post-race celebration and awards ceremony plus amazing door prizes kick off the most action packed weekend of the year!
A fun post-race party will greet all entrants to a light lunch, beverages, terrific door prizes
from our great sponsors including passes for skiing and golf, athletic equipment, running related items and awards ceremony.
Rain, Shine, Sun or Leaves the Fall Festival 5K is one to wittness!
Pre-register or come down on race-day to enter. Pre-reg. # pickup and race-day registration at the Creekside Lodge at Holiday Valley (look for Race Registration signs) from 8am Saturday morning. Please park in bus lots across the driveway.
USATF Sanctioned 5K features water at the 1/2 way point, water at the finish line and awards to class and overall winners.
Awards: Overall Male, Female & Masters Male & Female
Awards 3-deep in the following age groups:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
T-shirts to first 300+ and as they last on race-day.
